Pre & Post Natal Yoga
Join Samantha Corsiglia for a comprehensive class that will address the changing needs of your pregnant body while your baby grows, and while your body heals from birth. Learn to Play the Ukulele
Join Maureen Dere for a fun, introductory class where you’ll learn how to tune your instrument, the names of strings, basic chords, and timing and rhythm styles. You will even learn to play a simple song in your first class. You must bring your own ukulele to participate. Maureen is a wonderful teacher and you will be impressed how quickly you can learn to play some great tunes! 4pm-5pm, $5.

Saturday, February 6
Yoga and Self Healing with Wah!
Join Wah! for breathing exercises, postures, self-healing techniques, and conclude with a deep relaxation and short meditation. She will share with you some of her insights about yoga from her book, Dedicating Your Life to Spirit. All levels welcome. Wah! brings both intellectual concepts and the experience of healing and receptivity to yoga center, churches, cancer clinics, women’s groups and veterans helping people heal disconnection and renew relationships. She is an innovator in her field, using a deep understanding of music and healing to create profound transformative events.

Today’s topic: How to gain energy and lose weight: We’ll discuss the relationships between diet, blood sugar, and insulin control in maintaining optimal weight, identify risk factors that contribute to symptoms of dysglycemia (unbalanced blood sugar), and explain how stress contributes to unhealthy weight gain. 6pm-7:15pm, Free.
