Call to Order (7:00 p.m.) — Councilmember self-introductions.

  1. Board of Supervisors’ Report and Reports from other Government Officials

  2. Public Comment and Announcements (Members of the public may speak up to three minutes on any topic not on the agenda. Please fill out a speaker slip. The Council may not discuss or take action on items not on the agenda.)

  3. Consent Agenda (Items generally approved as a group without discussion, unless requested to be moved to Regular Agenda for discussion.)
    a. Approve Minutes for March 8, 2016

  4. Regular Agenda — The Council may take action on the following items:
    a. (7:15 p.m.) Connect the Coastside (Comprehensive Transportation Management Plan) (Stein) — County presentation of the recommended transportation improvements and land use policies to minimize and mitigate the impacts of growth. This is a preview of County Public Workshop #4, which will be scheduled in the next few weeks.

Desired outcome: Informational.

b. (8:30 p.m.) Coastside Shuttle (Johnson) — Presentation from County staff on a proposed Coastside shuttle to run between Half Moon Bay and the Midcoast. County staff will also review a grant application to the San Mateo County Transportation Authority to help fund the shuttle program.

Desired outcome: Provide comments to Supervisor Horsley on the proposed shuttle program and determine whether the MCC should provide a letter in support of the grant application.
