We have a total lunar eclipse coming up on Sept 27, 2015

Just about sunset, as the full moon rises (a “supermoon”), we will have a total lunar eclipse. Watching it from up on a ridge somewhere would probably be ideal.

These are the times that I’ve seen reported:

Pacific Daylight Time (September 27, 2015)
Partial umbral eclipse begins: 6:07 p.m. PDT on September 27
Total eclipse begins: 7:11 p.m. PDT
Greatest eclipse: 7:47 p.m. PDT
Total eclipse ends: 8:23 p.m. PDT
Partial eclipse ends: 9:27 p.m. PDT

The last major eclipse I saw was the Solar eclipse a couple of years back, from Montara, and it was in pretty foggy conditions, which was interesting in and of itself!
